(Sola Gratia)"

(Grace)
Substitutionary Atonement).

(Pastoral Illustration)

(Action Plan)

Week 1 [Grace Alone] : Why Do We Need Jesus?

"God's Unconditional Love and the Free Gift of the Cross (Sola Gratia)"

📖 Key Scripture Passages
"For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast." (Ephesians 2:8-9, ESV)

1. Icebreaker & The 3 Ultimate Questions of Human Life

• Throughout human history, every thinking person inevitably confronts three fundamental questions:
1. "Where did I come from, what am I living for, and where am I going after death?" (Question of Origin & Destiny)
2. "Why is human life continually beset with inescapable burdens, anxieties, guilt, and existential emptiness?" (Question of Human Suffering)
3. "How can a person find true and permanent peace, pardon, and eternal hope?" (Question of Redemption)
• Small Group Discussion Question: Looking back over your life, what is the most unforgettable gift you have ever received freely from someone without paying anything in return? How did that gift make you feel?

2. Systematic Theological Exegesis: Why Do We Need the Grace of Jesus Christ?

1) The Purpose of Creation and the Unfillable Longing of the Human Soul
• God created the entire universe and fashioned humanity in His own image and likeness (Imago Dei).
• Human beings were created to live in intimate, loving fellowship with God. Only when connected to the Creator can the human soul experience genuine joy, security, and meaning.
• Genesis 1:27: "So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them."
• Psalm 42:1-2: "As a deer pants for flowing streams, so pants my soul for you, O God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God."
• The early church father St. Augustine confessed in his famous prayer:

"You have made us for Yourself, O Lord, and our hearts are restless until they find their rest in You."

• The brilliant French mathematician and philosopher Blaise Pascal observed:

"There is a God-shaped vacuum in the heart of every man, which cannot be filled by any created thing, but only by God the Creator, made known through Jesus Christ."

2) The Nature of Sin and Spiritual Alienation from God
• The Greek word for sin in the Bible is Hamartia (ἁμαρτία), which literally means "missing the mark" or departing from God's holy design.
• Biblically, sin is not merely breaking human laws; at its root, it is creaturely rebellion—disregarding God and placing oneself on the throne of life.
• Three Dimensions of Sin:
1. Original Sin (Peccatum Originale): The corrupted nature inherited from Adam's first disobedience.
2. Actual Sin: The deliberate wrong thoughts, words, and actions we commit against God's law daily.
3. Sins of Omission: Failing to do the good and loving deeds that God commands us to do.
• Romans 3:23: "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."
• Romans 6:23a: "For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."
• The 4-Fold Tragedy of Sin: ① Spiritual Death (alienation from God) ② Psychological Anxiety & Guilt ③ Relational Fractures & Hatred ④ Eternal Condemnation and Hell.
3) The Fatal Limits of Human Self-Salvation Efforts
• Throughout the centuries, human beings have invented diverse philosophies, moral codes, charitable works, and religious rituals to bridge the chasm between themselves and God.
• However, a drowning man trapped in quicksand cannot pull himself out by his own hair; nor can imperfect human deeds satisfy the absolute holiness and justice of God.
• Isaiah 64:6: "We have all become like one who is unclean, and all our righteous deeds are like a polluted garment."
• Hebrews 9:27: "And just as it is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment."
4) God's Sovereign Solution: The Atoning Grace of the Cross (Sola Gratia)
• Because humanity was utterly helpless, God in His infinite love took the divine initiative to save us.
• God sent His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, who lived a sinless life and willingly took our sins upon Himself, dying on the Cross as our substitute.
• Grace (Charis, χάρι스): "Unmerited, unearned divine favor bestowed upon guilty sinners at infinite cost to the Giver."
• John 3:16: "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life."
• Romans 5:8: "But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us."
• 2 Corinthians 5:21: "For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God."

3. Pastoral Faith Illustration

💡 [Pastoral Illustration] : Father Maximilian Kolbe and the Greater Love of the Cross
In July 1941, in the notorious Auschwitz concentration camp, a prisoner escaped. In retaliation, the Nazi commandant decreed that ten innocent men would be starved to death in an underground bunker. One of the condemned men, Franciszek Gajowniczek, wept aloud: "My poor wife! My poor children! I will never see them again!"

At that moment, a Polish priest named Maximilian Kolbe stepped calmly out of the ranks and said to the commandant: "I am an old Polish priest. I have no wife and children. Let me die in this man's place." Astonishingly, the commandant granted his request.

Franciszek was spared and returned home after the war, living to be 94 years old. Every day of his remaining life, he testified: "I am living because another man willingly died in my place!"

This moving historical event gives us a vivid glimpse of the Cross of Jesus Christ. Yet what Christ did for us is infinitely greater: Kolbe died for an innocent companion, but Jesus Christ died for us while we were still rebellious sinners and enemies of God. Through His substitutionary death, we who were under the sentence of eternal condemnation have been set completely free!

4. Small Group Bible Exploration & Interactive Worksheet

1. Read Ephesians 2:8-9 and fill in the blanks:
• "For by ( Grace ) you have been saved through ( Faith ). And this is not your own doing; it is the ( Gift ) of God, not a result of ( Works ), so that no one may boast."
2. Read Romans 5:8: At what point in our lives did Jesus Christ die for us?
• Answer: While we were still sinners! God did not wait for us to clean up our lives; He loved us at our worst and sent Christ to redeem us.
3. Why does the Bible emphasize that salvation cannot be earned by human good works or morality?
• Answer: Because if salvation could be earned by human merit, people would boast in their own pride, and Christ's death on the Cross would have been in vain. Salvation is 100% God's grace so that all glory belongs to God alone.

5. My Confession of Faith & Sinner's Prayer of Acceptance

"Heavenly Father, full of infinite love and grace, I confess honestly today that until now I have lived according to my own pride, stubbornness, and worldly desires, separated from You as a sinner.

I thank You with all my heart for sending Your only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, to take my place upon the Cross and bear the full penalty of my sins.

I believe that Jesus shed His precious blood, died, and rose again on the third day to give me eternal life and restore me into a relationship with God.

Right now, I open the door of my heart and welcome Jesus Christ as my personal Savior, my Lord, and my God. Wash away all my past sins, cleanse my heart, and seal me as Your beloved child.

Fill me with the Holy Spirit, empower me to live in obedience to Your Word, and guide every step of my new spiritual journey. In the holy and precious name of Jesus Christ I pray, Amen."

(Sola Fide)"

(Threefold Office) :

(Pastoral Illustration)

(Action Plan)

Week 2 [Faith Alone] : Who is Jesus Christ?

"True God and True Man, the Sole Mediator and Savior (Sola Fide)"

📖 Key Scripture Passages
"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" (John 14:6, ESV)

1. Icebreaker : "Who is Jesus Christ to You Personally?"

• Jesus once asked His closest disciples: "Who do you say that I am?" (Matthew 16:15).
• Apostle Peter answered with bold conviction: "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God!" (Matthew 16:16).
• Small Group Discussion Question: Before entering the church, who did you think Jesus was? (A great moral teacher, a prophet, a founder of a Western religion, or the living Savior?) How has your perspective begun to change?

2. Systematic Theological Exegesis: Why is Jesus Christ the Only Savior?

1) The Person of Jesus Christ: True God and True Man (Vere Deus, Vere Homo)
• Jesus Christ is not merely one of the four great sages of history; He is the eternal Son of God who came in human flesh (The Incarnation).
• Fully God: He possesses all divine attributes—omnipotence, omniscience, and sinless purity. Only as God could His sacrifice have infinite worth to atone for all human sin.
• Fully Man: Born of the Virgin Mary, He experienced hunger, fatigue, sorrow, and physical pain. Only as a true human could He stand as our substitute to pay the human death penalty.
• John 1:1, 14: "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God... And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us."
• 1 Timothy 2:5: "For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus."
2) The Three Offices of Christ (Munus Triplex)
1. Prophet (The Truth): Jesus reveals the fullness of God's will and truth to humanity. Through Him, spiritual darkness and blindness are abolished.
2. Priest (The Way): As our Great High Priest, Jesus offered not animal blood, but His own sinless blood on the Cross once and for all, tearing open the veil into God's presence.
3. King (The Life): Conquering sin, death, and Satan through His glorious resurrection, Jesus reigns as King of kings and Lord of lords, granting victory to all believers.
3) The Historical Reality of the Resurrection and Ascension
• Christianity does not worship a dead martyr in a tomb. Jesus rose bodily from the grave on the third day and appeared to over 500 witnesses (1 Corinthians 15:3-6).
• His resurrection is God's seal of approval proving that the death penalty of sin has been completely paid and that eternal life is guaranteed to all who believe.
• Acts 4:12: "And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved."

3. Pastoral Faith Illustration

💡 [Pastoral Illustration] : C.S. Lewis and the Trilemma: "Lord, Liar, or Lunatic"
Oxford professor and Christian thinker C.S. Lewis famously addressed the modern assertion that "Jesus was merely a great moral teacher, but not God." In Mere Christianity, he wrote:

"A man who was merely a man and said the sort of things Jesus said would not be a great moral teacher. He would either be a lunatic—on a level with the man who says he is a poached egg—or else he would be the Devil of Hell. You must make your choice. Either this man was, and is, the Son of God: or else a madman or something worse."

Jesus claimed to forgive sins (which only God can do), claimed to be eternal with the Father, and claimed He would judge all mankind at the end of time. His miracles, His fulfilled prophecies, His sinless life, and above all His bodily resurrection demonstrate beyond all doubt: Jesus Christ is the Lord of the Universe and our Living Savior!

4. Small Group Bible Exploration & Interactive Worksheet

1. According to John 14:6, what three titles did Jesus claim for Himself?
• Answer: The Way (the sole path to God), the Truth (the absolute revelation of God), and the Life (the fountain of eternal resurrection life).
2. Why can't other moral teachers or religious leaders take away our sins?
• Answer: Because every human being is born with original sin and committed actual sins. A sinner cannot save another sinner; only Jesus Christ, who knew no sin, could bear the penalty on our behalf.
3. What happens to a person the exact moment they place their faith in Jesus Christ? (Read John 5:24)
• Answer: They pass immediately from death into life and do not come into judgment!

5. Confession of Faith Prayer

"Lord Jesus Christ, I believe with all my heart that You are the eternal Son of God, who took on human flesh, died on the Cross for my sins, and rose victorious over death.

I confess that You are the only Way, the only Truth, and the only Life. I reject all self-reliance and place my trust solely in Your finished work on Calvary.

Be the Lord of my life, the Master of my thoughts, and the Guide of my future. May I follow You faithfully as Your disciple all the days of my life. In Jesus' blessed name, Amen."

6. Weekly Practical Mission

1. Scripture Memorization: Memorize John 14:6 and recite it aloud 3 times each day.
2. Faith Sharing: Share with one family member or friend why you believe Jesus is the only Savior.
3. Personal Study: Read John chapters 1 through 3 this week.

(4) 삶에 구체적으로 적용하기 (3분, 3P 원칙) : Personal(개인적), Practical(구체적), Possible(실천 가능).

(Pastoral Illustration)

(Action Plan)

Week 3 [Word & Prayer Alone] : Walking with God Daily

"The Word as Soul's Daily Bread and Prayer as Spiritual Breathing (Sola Scriptura)"

📖 Key Scripture Passages
"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:6-7, ESV)

1. Icebreaker : Spiritual Breathing and the Soul's Banquet

• If a person goes without food for even a day, they feel weak; if they go without breathing for just a few minutes, physical life ceases.
• In exactly the same way, the Bible (God's Word) is spiritual nourishment for our inner man, and Prayer is the spiritual breathing of our soul!
• Small Group Discussion Question: When you faced overwhelming anxiety or difficult decisions in the past, how did you cope? How does taking your burdens to God in prayer bring a completely different peace?

2. Systematic Theological Exegesis: How to Walk Intimately with God

1) The Bible: The Living, Inerrant Word of God (Spiritual Food)
• The Bible consists of 66 books written over 1,500 years by approximately 40 human authors, yet it possesses flawless unity under the divine inspiration of the Holy Spirit.
• 2 Timothy 3:16-17: "All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work."
• The 5 Fingers of Bible Intake (The Navigators Hand Illustration):
1. Hearing (Little Finger): Listening attentively to sermon preaching (Romans 10:17).
2. Reading (Ring Finger): Consistent daily personal reading (Revelation 1:3).
3. Studying (Middle Finger): Digging into context, doctrine, and cross-references (Acts 17:11).
4. Memorizing (Index Finger): Storing verses in the heart to overcome temptation (Psalm 119:11).
5. Meditating (Thumb): Pondering and applying the Word into daily life (Psalm 1:2-3). Just as the thumb touches all fingers to hold a book firmly, meditation makes the Word take root in the soul!
2) Prayer: Spiritual Conversation and Power with God (Spiritual Breathing)
• Prayer is not mechanical chanting; it is children talking intimately with their loving Heavenly Father.
• The Biblical Structure of Prayer (A.C.T.S. Model):
1. Adoration (A): Praising God for His holiness, sovereignty, majesty, and love.
2. Confession (C): Honestly confessing sins and receiving cleansing through the blood of Jesus.
3. Thanksgiving (T): Expressing specific gratitude for daily blessings, protection, and answered prayers.
4. Supplication (S): Interceding for family, church, nation, and presenting personal needs.
• Jeremiah 33:3: "Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known."

3. Pastoral Faith Illustration

💡 [Pastoral Illustration] : George Müller and 50,000 Answered Prayers
George Müller (1805–1898) of Bristol, England, cared for more than 10,000 orphans over his lifetime without ever asking a single human being for money or soliciting donations. Whenever the orphanage had no food or money, Müller went down on his knees and laid the need before God in prayer.

One famous morning, breakfast time arrived for 300 orphans, but there was neither bread nor milk in the cupboards. Müller had the children sit at the tables and thanked God for the meal they were about to receive. Right after saying "Amen," a knock came at the door.

It was the local baker, who said: "Mr. Müller, God woke me up at 2 AM and told me to bake three batches of fresh bread for your children." Moments later, a milk cart broke down directly in front of the orphanage, and the milkman offered all the fresh milk before it spoiled!

Throughout his life, Müller recorded more than 50,000 specific answered prayers in his diary. His life stands as historic proof: God is living and faithfully answers the prayers of those who trust His Word!

4. Small Group Bible Exploration & Interactive Worksheet

1. According to Philippians 4:6-7, what is God's antidote to anxiety?
• Answer: Take everything to God in prayer and supplication with thanksgiving! When we hand our worries over to God, His supernatural peace guards our hearts and minds.
2. What is the difference between reading the Bible as literature versus meditating on it as God's living Word?
• Answer: Literature provides intellectual information, but God's Word changes our inner heart, cleanses our conscience, and gives spiritual power to overcome temptation.
3. Write down your personal prayer time and place for this week:
• My Prayer Time: (e.g., Morning 6:30 AM / Evening 10:00 PM) | My Prayer Place: (e.g., Quiet desk / bedside)

5. Prayer Commitment & Consecration

"Loving Heavenly Father, thank You for giving me Your precious Word as the eternal lamp to my feet and the light to my path.

Help me not to neglect my spiritual life in the busyness of this world. Give me a deep hunger to read and meditate on Scripture every single day.

Teach me to pray without ceasing, bringing all my anxieties, requests, and thanksgiving to Your throne of grace. Fill me with the supernatural peace that guards my heart and mind in Christ Jesus. In Jesus' name, Amen."

6. Weekly Practical Mission

1. Scripture Memorization: Memorize Philippians 4:6-7 word for word.
2. Quiet Time (Q.T.): Spend 10 minutes each morning reading 1 chapter of the Gospel of John and praying.
3. Prayer Journaling: Use the ACTS method to write your prayer in the study notes below.

(Pastoral Illustration)

(Action Plan)

Week 4 [The Church Alone] : Blessed Church Life and Worship

"Experiencing Heavenly Joy and Vital Fellowship within the Body of Christ"

📖 Key Scripture Passages
"Now you are the body of Christ and individually members of it." (1 Corinthians 12:27, ESV)

1. Icebreaker : The Principle of the Campfire Coals

• On a freezing winter night, imagine a roaring campfire. If you take a single burning coal out of the fire and leave it by itself on the snow, what happens? Within minutes, it grows cold, black, and dead.
• However, as long as that coal remains gathered together with all the other burning coals in the fire pit, it burns fiercely with bright heat and light!
• Small Group Discussion Question: Have you ever tried to maintain your spiritual passion alone without joining Christian fellowship? What difference does being part of a warm, supportive church family make?

2. Systematic Theological Exegesis: 4 Core Principles of a Blessed Church Life

1) The Biblical Definition of the Church (Ekklesia)
• The Greek word for church is Ekklesia (ἐκκλησία), which means "those called out from the world into God's holy assembly."
• The church is not primarily a physical building of bricks and mortar; it is the living spiritual community of redeemed sinners whose Head is Jesus Christ (Colossians 1:18).
2) The 4 Pillars of a Fruitful and Blessed Church Life
1. Lord's Day Corporate Worship (The Heartbeat of Faith): Setting aside Sunday to offer reverence, praise, and listen to God's proclaimed Word in spirit and in truth (John 4:24).
2. Small Group Cell Fellowship (Spiritual Family): Meeting in small groups to share life, pray for one another, and bear each other's burdens (Hebrews 10:24-25).
3. Joyful Serving & Stewardship (Using Spiritual Gifts): Discovering your unique God-given talents and serving the body with joy, including faithful biblical tithing (Malachi 3:10, 1 Peter 4:10).
4. Evangelism & World Missions (Fulfilling the Great Commission): Sharing the love of Christ with neighbors, workplace colleagues, and unreached nations (Matthew 28:19-20).

3. Pastoral Faith Illustration

💡 [Pastoral Illustration] : The Geese Flying in V-Formation
Scientists have discovered why wild geese fly across vast continents in a distinct V-formation. As each bird flaps its wings, it creates an uplift for the bird immediately following. By flying in a V-formation, the whole flock adds at least 71% greater flying range than if each bird flew on its own!

Whenever a goose falls out of formation, it suddenly feels the drag and resistance of trying to go it alone and quickly gets back into formation to take advantage of the lifting power of the bird immediately in front.

When the lead goose gets tired, it rotates back into the wing and another goose flies the point. The geese behind honk from behind to encourage those up front to keep up their speed.

This is a magnificent picture of the local church! When believers travel together in the fellowship of Christ, encouraging one another and bearing one another's burdens, we can run the Christian race with endurance and arrive safely at our heavenly destination!

4. Small Group Bible Exploration & Interactive Worksheet

1. According to 1 Corinthians 12:27, what is your identity in relation to other believers?
• Answer: We are the body of Christ, and each of us is an essential, irreplaceable member! Just as the eye cannot say to the hand "I have no need of you," so we all need each other.
2. Why does Hebrews 10:24-25 urge us not to neglect meeting together?
• Answer: Because isolation leaves believers vulnerable to spiritual attacks and discouragement. Meeting together stirs up love and good works.

5. Church Dedication Prayer

"Lord Jesus Christ, thank You for establishing Your Church with Your own precious blood and grafting me into this blessed spiritual family.

Help me not to remain an observer on the sidelines, but to actively participate in Sunday worship, love the brothers and sisters in my small group, and serve with the gifts You have given me.

Bless our senior pastor, the pastoral leadership, and all the ministries of this church. Make our church a shining beacon of salvation and hope in our community and to the ends of the earth. In Jesus' name, Amen."

6. Weekly Practical Mission

1. Worship Preparation: Arrive 15 minutes before Sunday worship service to prepare your heart in prayer.
2. Fellowship Connection: Introduce yourself warmly to three church members during fellowship time.
3. Intercession: Pray daily for your senior pastor and the pastoral team.

(Vision)
(Growth Pathway)

(Pastoral Illustration)

(Action Plan)

Week 5 [Faithful Discipleship] : Vision and Partnership

"Partnering in the Pastor's Vision to Transform the World as Christ's Disciples"

📖 Key Scripture Passages
"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come." (2 Corinthians 5:17, ESV)

1. Icebreaker : Spectator in the Stands vs. Player on the Field

• At a soccer stadium, 40,000 spectators sit in comfortable seats eating snacks, cheering or complaining. But only 22 players on the pitch are sweating, running with all their might, and actually winning the game!
• In God's Kingdom, God did not call us to be passive religious spectators; He drafted us to be active, victorious athletes on the field of ministry!
• Small Group Discussion Question: What does "becoming a true disciple of Jesus" mean to you as you graduate from this 5-week course? What is your greatest dream for your spiritual future?

2. Systematic Theological Exegesis: The 3 Stages of Spiritual Growth

1) The Ladder of Spiritual Growth in the Church
STAGE 1 New Believer (Settlement & Foundation)
Experiencing the joy of salvation and learning the fundamentals of faith (5-Week New Family Course).
STAGE 2 Growing Disciple (Assurance & Growth)
Deepening biblical convictions and overcoming spiritual warfare through Discipleship Training (Assurance of Faith & Spiritual Growth courses).
STAGE 3 Servant Leader (Ministry & Multiplication)
Serving as cell leaders, teachers, ministry servants, and reproducing other disciples to impact the world for Christ.
2) The Calling of a Faithful Partner in the Gospel
• Just as Aaron and Hur lifted up the heavy hands of Moses on the mountain so that Joshua could triumph in the valley below (Exodus 17:11-13), faithful church members stand alongside their senior pastor in fervent prayer and loyal partnership.
• When the pastor and the congregation advance in unified faith, the gates of hell cannot prevail, and revival breaks forth!

3. Pastoral Faith Illustration

💡 [Pastoral Illustration] : Edward Kimball and the Great D.L. Moody
In 1855 in Boston, an unassuming Sunday school teacher named Edward Kimball felt burdened for a young, uneducated clerk working in a shoe store. Kimball went to the store, found the young man in the back wrapping shoes, placed his hand on his shoulder, and tenderly shared the love of Jesus Christ.

That young man wept and surrendered his heart to Christ on the spot. His name was Dwight L. Moody (D.L. Moody), who grew to become one of history's greatest evangelists, preaching the Gospel to over 100 million people across America and Great Britain!

Moody's ministry later influenced F.B. Meyer, J. Wilbur Chapman, Billy Sunday, and ultimately led to the salvation of Billy Graham, through whom hundreds of millions heard the Gospel.

All of this spiritual fruit began with one ordinary, faithful disciple who obeyed God's call to share Christ with one soul. God wants to write the next chapter of this glorious story through you!

4. Small Group Bible Exploration & Interactive Worksheet

1. According to 2 Corinthians 5:17, what happens to our past when we are in Christ?
• Answer: The old life of sin, condemnation, and aimlessness has completely passed away; behold, everything has become new!
2. What is the next step in your spiritual growth after completing this New Family course?
• Answer: Enrolling in the next discipleship level (such as the 8-Week Assurance of Faith Course) to deepen biblical doctrine and ministry skills!

5. Discipleship Commissioning Prayer

"Lord Jesus Christ, I thank You from the depths of my heart for bringing me through these five weeks of blessed discipleship training.

I confess that I am a new creation in You. Help me never to turn back to my old worldly habits, but to press forward toward the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

Make me a faithful disciple who loves Your Word, lives on my knees in prayer, loves my church family, and shares the Gospel boldly with the lost. Use my life as a channel of Your grace to bless generations to come. In Jesus' mighty name, Amen!"

6. Weekly Practical Mission

1. Course Graduation: Submit your completion pledge form in Appendix 4 and receive your official certificate.
2. Next Step Enrollment: Sign up for the next stage of discipleship training (Assurance of Faith).
3. VIP Evangelism: Write down the names of three unchurched family members or friends and begin praying for their salvation daily.

📚 [Special Appendix 2] 10 Essential Faith Q&As for New Believers

[Q1] "Now that I believe in Jesus, are all my past sins really forgiven?"
[Answer] Yes! The Bible promises that the precious blood of Jesus Christ cleanses us from all sin—past, present, and future—making our souls whiter than snow (Isaiah 1:18, 1 John 1:7, Romans 8:1). Do not be bound by guilt; walk in the freedom of the Cross!
[Q2] "What should I do when my feelings of assurance seem to waver?"
[Answer] Salvation is not based upon fluctuating human feelings, but upon the unchanging promise of God's Word. Just as the sun still shines behind clouds, God's love and salvation remain eternal and absolute (John 10:28-29).
[Q3] "Why is Sunday worship so essential for a Christian?"
[Answer] Sunday is the Lord's Day commemorating Christ's resurrection. Corporate worship re-aligns our hearts with God's sovereignty, renews our spiritual strength through the proclaimed Word, and unites us with our spiritual family.
[Q4] "How can I read and understand the Bible effectively?"
[Answer] Begin with prayer asking the Holy Spirit for understanding. Start with the Gospels (especially the Gospel of John) and read at least one chapter daily, applying one specific lesson to your life.
[Q5] "What is the biblical purpose and meaning of tithing?"
[Answer] Tithing (giving one-tenth of our income to God) is a joyful confession of faith that God is the rightful Owner of everything we have, supporting the ministries of the local church and unlocking God's promised spiritual and material provision (Malachi 3:10).
[Q6] "How should I handle family members or friends who oppose my faith?"
[Answer] Do not engage in angry arguments. Show them greater love, kindness, and practical service than ever before. When they see Christ's genuine transformation in your character, their hearts will soften toward the Gospel (1 Peter 3:1-2).
